Hey! I really loved the concept and found footage style, but was kinda taken out of the experience by the demon AI and the Creepyapsta-y scares. But you've created a really scary experience here and I would love to play a follow up with a similar style and a little more polish!
Ye the game was only developed in 2 months ( A challenge that I set for myself ) so It was unpolished but In the future I will try my best to improve my future project and make It more polish and thankyou for playing my game :)
Now this game is pretty fun, although it's a bit to close to emily wants to play for me to say it's amazing. But nonetheless I liked it a big scary monster, spooky theme and atmosphere, and over all pretty good, I'm not a huge fan of the (spoilers) random images that pop up after the first time they aren't scary just get in the way of moving. If you paused movement during them it might make it better though
It's been a while since I've been this afraid playing a horror game... I absolutely loved this. This is going on my list of my most favorite indie horror games. Loved the pacing and the fact that it didn't rely on jump scares to spook me out.
I loved it and it was difficult for me to finish it since it gave me a very bad feeling haha, I only saw one detail, on the stairs when you stay in the middle it does not keep going up, outside of that everything works perfectly. I leave a small video of the game (it is in Spanish) hehe greetings.
Ye I found the problem of the stair, thankyou for the feedback though, but I won't give any update to the game since now I'm busy with my uni projects and If I have time I would rather focus on my future horror game :) and thankyou for playing my game :)
This game triggered something in me and it was beyond creepy. I had to quit playing at a certain point. The atmosphere and execution is great. Despite not being able to finish the game, it was still a great experience and I hope you do more in the future!
fun fact: the voice actor was one of my friend and she love retro stuff and she collect a lot of old things including vhs tape, so I thought to myself hmmm how about vhs tape into my game :)

Advantages:
1. The game is so creepy and scary! I didn't expect that at all! The images that would pop up for brief moments and two realities - dangerous one and extremely creepy one are so good! I had goosebumps like 89% of the time playing the game!
2. I love that the game is not very punishing. I died once and was stupid about where the hearts were and still won. I think it's great for this game because it has a bias towards creepy factor which would get ruined if the game would be more unforgiving. So, in my opinion the game is balanced pretty well.
3. The style is awesome! I like VHS games and here it was well-executed. I loved the ambiance created by the candle and sound design as well.
Disadvantages:
1. The story is so weird. I mean what kind of pizza delivery person acts like that? It would be more believable if a stupid teen would try to get into this house just for fun. I mean, teens act like that, pizza delivery people - no.
2. It's a bit unfair how the player has no idea where the demon is upon switching from the creepy world to the "normal" one. I mean, sometimes the demon spawns right up one's arse which is not great. Though, as I have mentioned before, the game is forgiving so it's not a big problem. I'm actually glad that I've seen how death is executed.
3. Once I got a heart spawn right where the last one was. This is no bueno cuz I think I missed something interesting in the creepy world by skipping right to the next phase of the game.
Overall:
I think the game has still places that could be polished more but overall I enjoyed the experience a lot! Thus, I'll rate the game 5/5 as it surprised me, scared me, crept me out and was amazing!

Okay, I hated playing this. The heartbeats, the footsteps, and the overall feel of the game, filled me with so much dread, nausea, and anxiety. I had to play the game in 2 different recordings, and even then, I couldn't handle the game enough to finish it. So in that regard, that makes this a great horror game. It's the most I've ever been scared in a video game. Great stuff, looking forward to more projects!

This game scared the absolute crap out of me dawg, straight up had me terrified to a point where I didn't know if I wanted to finish it. The random flashing imagery of "cursed" pictures and videos were amazingly placed, the demon things trying to find you was a bit bugged but scary, everything was phenomenal. I was a bit confused at first, but picked up the pace quickly. It took me almost an hour because of how chicken I was lol..

The direction was kind of weird, I didn't understand it at first but got the gist eventually. It's a lot of jumpscares and loud noises, but looking past that it's pretty creepy.
The small view distance really helps the creep factor, and the monster design is great.

I thought the monster was very scary and a great job was done on it. The initial jumpscare got me and I thought it did a great job of creating a creepy and unsettling environment. I found it a little difficult to figure out exactly what to do and to find the hearts at times but besides that I enjoyed it.

My little gameplay of this game. It is a good horror game and it makes you pay attention to everything. I think the low-style graphics are abused a bit and could be increased a bit while maintaining the look of the game, although it is only an opinion. Great game.

Ye the game concept was not to guide you during the gameplay, so you need to listen the heart beat, follow It to find the heart and try your best not touch the monster (the monster blind btw). So seems like some player also find this little bit difficult, so will try my best to let the player know what they need to do in my future horror game and thankyouu for playing my game :)
This game is SCARY! Yes, it takes a bit to get rolling, but once it does, it’s horrifying! It’s got an appropriate visual aesthetic and scary audio effects (though some sounds are louder than others). Your main goal isn’t entirely clear from the start, but it’ll come to you soon enough. Most importantly, this game succeeds in scaring the player in genuine ways rather than through cheap jump scares (though there are some well-places jump scares too). Give this game a try; it’s worth your time.

The only critisizm I really have is that whenever you go to "the other place" it is incredebly hard to hear the heartbeat. And you go there too frequent, so it becomes somewhat dull after a small while, but it was not too bad, as it does change over time. The only change I could think of that may make the game just a little better, is that either the frequency of going to "the other place" should be lower or that there should be less hearts to find. Anyway, fantastic game!
